I find that drakes ripstop blazer a bit off putting. The notches on the lapel don’t seem right. Also, it looks like a 3 button 2, but there looks to be a 4 button hole higher up on the jacket. It’s more glaring on the tan jacket than the navy but unusual and not sure what it’s for.
Oh that’s interesting, Matthew. When I’ve tried it on I really liked it. For me it’s a good outdoor jacket (less like a tailored piece). I enjoy an outdoor jacket with that sort of lapel. It’s a nice alternative to a chore jacket. You might like their new jungle jacket better. But there’s room for all opinions here, (except you must like knit ties!). https://www.drakes.com/usa/clothing/coats-and-jackets/khaki-cotton-ripstop-jungle-jacket
That is a great read on Bloomberg. Well done, sir.
The Bloomberg article is a beautiful snapshot of our current time. The transition from the Golden Age of Tailoring to the considered focus on casual.

I love Drakes. My favorite shirt is drakes chambray and have several drakes ties both knitted and more traditional! Just found that sport coat odd.
