How do you feel about the success of your Vikings so far this season. Are you excited or filled with dread knowing the eventual outcome? Who’s your team in this winter’s World Cup?
I’m someone that historically stops going to coffee shops/restaurants etc. as soon as staff starts to recognize me. This is largely because I’m so uncomfortable with small talk, kinda freeze and mumble when presented with it, and then spend the next 20 minutes feeling embarrassed about it. Any tips on how to make this smoother? I recognize I come off as rude, but I’m fairly certain I’m just very socially anxious.
Since the Yankees are not in the Series this year (again?), I find myself far too interested in the ups and downs of the stock market. Thoughts on the current state as it relates to style and grace in the face of financial/social duress?
I took a lesson or two. And then….you’ll have to read about it in the next book!

Be very polite when you greet them. Then bring something to read. And read vigorously. Then be polite when you say goodbye. They’ll get the picture.

Hmmm…I think people gravitate to stability in volatile times. Revert to classics, good value and things that endure.
