I'm wondering, and you have no obligation to answer (hoping that this question is not like one of those lazy social media comments -- "who made your boots tell me now") -- were you given the option to read the audiobook yourself? I listened to the sample, and while I pay all due respect to the fine VO professional who read it, I miss the character in your voice. I also know that it's a long and laborious process, and many authors would never want to do it. Just putting my vote out there that we love your voice and you should read it to us some day. ;-)
Thanks John. Oh they asked me to do it. But I had no interest. I read the afterword. The recording studio was closed for Covid reasons, so I had to record it on my bed under a towel for better sound. That was more than enough for me!
