Great piece. A very transportive read, especially that Miller Lite part. I don't drink Miller Lite, but the drinkability via word transcended through the screen and my countdown is now on to 4:45PM! By the way, the Miller Lite can art/aesthetic is kinda spot on.
I've noticed that Maine Beer has upped their distribution game over the last 12 months. I appreciate how they've shirked the conventional $16 4-pack approach and just sell single glass bottles of complex, drinkable beer.
Maine Beer Co is legit, not surprised at all you would find their stuff in the Catskills. Distribution channels for the larger, better Maine breweries have a wide reach
Upstream Wine is wonderful. They also have a sister bar across the street - Sunshine Colony - with the same focus on natural and wine and good unpretentious advice. Might be a bit chilly to sit outdoors this weekend but great in the summer.
Gave me goosebumps...

Yes, such a good way to experiment and see what you like.
This sounds absolutely perfect!

For some reason I thought they were maintaining the cult with geographical scarcity. But I’m glad to find it!

Oh right! I remember Meg talking about this. Can’t wait to visit.
Loved this post! I haven’t had a chance to see the new Maine Beer Co expansion but love that they’ve stayed consistent and have avoided trends.
Loved every word of this one... I could see myself there. Well done!
