Thanks for giving us interesting things to think about, and a pleasant space to chat this year. All the best ✌🏻

In an unimaginably bleak year your steadfastness in giving voice to a more considered approach to life was admirable but the fact you did it so damn well each week was a gift to us all. Well done sir.

Hi David, You said you hoped The Contender would help you stay connected with people. I think it’s actually helped us all feel a little more connected at this crazy time. Thank you

David, you afford a sane and civilized place for discourse and comraderie of the old-school kind...thank you for that and for simply being a reasonable man. Much success with the new book... Michael Maglaras

David, one other thought if I may. Your use of what I think may be a painting by the remarkable Caspar David Friedrich is most telling and revealing. A couple of friends...companiably observing the twilight or sunrise earliest phase of the moon...of maybe the end of a partial eclipse?...a reminder of the sanctity of experience, of the blessings of friendship, of the depth of what nature can teach us, embodied by the ancient, gnarled tree filed with the life force of weathered experience. A wise choice of visuals...Michael Maglaras
