I have to say that "wildly irrelevant" is the best reason to listen to this podcast. That should be printed framed on the wall, like your first rejection letter or your first dollar.
Got through the first two chapters last night - loving it so far. Planning to get a copy for my dad who has been fly fishing his whole life and two buddies that have recently expressed an interest in learning. Question, that will help clarify in my mind your woolybugger opinion. How do you feel about strike indicators whilst nymphing?
For example, I'm admittedly a happy woolybuggerer (trout fishing in Oklahoma is tough!), but I would consider it an affront to the fly fishing gods to ever put a bobber on my leader!

Ha! We might do that!
Got mine today, too; this book is gorgeous, something to really be proud of. Only one chapter in but loving it.
Thank you, Eric!
Hey David, your book arrived today! Can’t wait to read it. Congratulations. Love the texture of the cover by the way. Take care, Luke
Thanks Luke!

I usually use a dry-dropper combination. So something that floats well and is visible, like a Chubbie Chernobyl (good fly/bad name).
