Some Good Traditions
Merry Christmas from Minneapolis where it’s a lean ten degrees below zero. There’s cold in theory and there’s cold in practice—this is a face-slapping, don’t leave the house, stay by the fire situation. Let’s just say we’re reevaluating the grilling agenda—might have to put that rack of lamb in the oven, after all.
I was thinking about some favorite Christmas traditions. I always listen to Dylan Thomas read A Child’s Christmas in Wales, one of the best things anybody can do. I also love A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols the concert from the candlelit chapel at King’s College Cambridge.
