This is business not personal. These are bad words plain and simple. Don’t take it as a criticism if you’ve used these words, but do excise them from your literary life.

Some are bad because of the mouthfeel (another bad word), some are bad because of the associations, some are bad because of the sound, some are bad because they’re pretentious, some are bad in their own unique way.

But they’re all bad and this will be the last time I ever type them.
