How are we feeling today? Let’s agree that the World Cup is good, the heat is bad and getting married in Madison Square Garden is worse. Oh, and America is celebrating 250 years under current management.
It’s a complicated time, a balancing act of enjoyment and outrage served every time you look at your phone. So let’s think about the best people, inventions and traditions the US has to offer. Their legacy reminds us of a standard worth trying to meet. After all, this is still a work in progress.
